You'll be happy with the tune. Even ECT benefits from the tune so that towing should be better (I haven't towed anything to confirm this tho).

Already have 1 log file in the books. I work weekdays so I can log twice per day and my commute is about 20 miles. Takes me 35 minutes to get to work with no traffic. There should be a lot of data there due to the fact that my route is 80% backroads. The rest are highway miles.

For you guys that are logging, make sure to note the approximate time or frame# in your log that experienced any of the symptoms that you feel need addressed. Don't expect Matt to go trough your whole log just to catch the "anomaly". ;)

Use the flag feature. You can even insert comments to go along with the flag. Works marvelously.

For the record, Mat's instructions to us on the MT side included not using any flags. Just for the record. If he's cool with it on the AT side, my bad

I wondered why that was, maybe he doesn't find flags that useful or they somehow mess with his analysis :notsure:

Got a question for you folks, what is the rpm you guys are getting around 40-45mph when just driving regularly?

The drive ability of the vehicle is fine for me for the most part although I use ECT most of the time and what(I think) normally kills the mpg compared to ect off is the fact that the vehicle is always at around 2k rpms when going in that mph range, faster or slower speeds I tend to get around the same as ect off.

I know that it has to do with it being in 4th gear as well, but since I do a lot of city driving and OVTUNE would get slightly higher mpg based here then it would pay itself off in a couple of years while getting a better experience than ECT so a win win in my book lol.

Great update! When you get the time, would be great to hear your thoughts on what specific changes you’ve made in the 3-4/4-5 shifting. Seems the overall desire has been for 4th to hold wider... shift up from 3rd sooner but then hold onto 4th a lot longer vs upshifitng to overdrive at slower, city speeds. Is this essentially one of the outcomes you’re trying to achieve with those AT changes?

    87 1.03 tune
    Lifted, armor, bigger tires

Morning/after work commute is mostly city so these RPMs are when driving with little to mild traffic

    City driving kills mpgs

I go through about 3-4 tanks a week with a mix of everything on road and off. Can this Techstream be Bluetooth to a phone or is it all hard wired to a laptop? Id like to start logging also if needed.

More details on what this means for the basic drivers? Worth migrating from 1.03?
