Has anyone noticed if OVtune has eliminated or lessened the exhaust vibration issue from 2100- 2300 RPMs that many, including myself are experiencing?

 

okay folks so far initial reports on 1.04 are solid, thank you for the feedback. Still early in this so...

100% bone stock truck, stock tire size, stock everything that wants to test 1.04, PM/email me

First time hearing about an exhaust vibration. I’ve heard of the stutters. What does sound/feel like?

Exchanging some emails with Mat for us big tire guys.

 

PLEASE someone with STOCK tires/etc., test this thing. I'd be all over this if I weren't on lockdown today... but I know the differences in tires/wheels/suspension impacts things like the famed "tip-in" and shift points. C'mon STOCK ATs, test this thing! There were characteristics those of us with stock setups experienced that Mat did not on his truck and some of that is to do w/ his wheel/tire/pro suspension setup.

Let's get a good motivated OR 4x4 rocking the stock wheels / wranglers / billys!

@OVTune I will have some time tomorrow so even if you drop today and want me to do some stock testing for any stock refinements tomorrow I'm happy to.

 

LOL, a good percentage of the M/T community already has what I presume to be the final product in this release.

I’m sure more revisions in the future will be released. I think Mat is getting better and better everyday with our platform.

 

I second this. If you do this you are a major DB! Get your refund and go buy a K & N filter and pretend your going faster.

 

You may be correct but I only have two test tune files. I am looking forward to a custom tune based on logging this new file for those of us with larger tires and added weight as Matt indicated.

 

Custom tunes are defiantly gonna be the game changer.
