Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

You must of missed the part maybe 800 pages ago when it was said that those who purchased the tune would have access to further development and future tunes released for free.
No ones crying here, everyone’s waiting with excitement for this new release to hit that’s all.

 

I think he also missed the fact that this is still in alpha development.. hence the name of the dame thread LOLOL
Changed are to be made and many people have helped him.

 

Perhaps you missed the name of this thread? alpha, meaning first, or still in development. Thanks for participating and adding to the community with your comments.

Nope, seen that and that is one reason I purchased. You can be giddy with excitement without bringing the guys integrity in the mix. This is obviously not directed at you, but all you have to do is re-read some of the past comments to see who it could be.

note, since I have been working on several new things with flash manager that are not finished, I did not want to post the app with some unfinished work.
This is a stripped, temporary version for updating to 1.04
- support AT only at the moment. I am finalizing a few things for MT.
- Flash manager (the next update) will have some new, nice features
- archive mode
- Flash Manager Log Viewer
- Log interpreter function for techstream logs
- Flash Manager link for log submission (custom request)
- Tune File / Map info

and some other things

 

@OVTune Is 1.04 an ECU update only or both ECU and TCU?

a quick pic of logviewer and data analyzer for flash manager (will take techstream csv logs)
will be used to highlight areas of log data that needs attention (like knock, lean spikes etc) will allow end user to analyze their log data, etc

believe me guys I'm working on a TON of stuff for this platform.. and it will all be wrapped together in a nice package at the end.
This datalog viewer will work alongside the datalogger that's being worked on.

Don’t forget to idle for 10 minutes.
Also per @OVTune, Drive 20-30 miles and let the fuel and ignition trims set.

1.04 is a nice improvement that I was able to immediately feel over 1.03.
It’s a lot smoother, and the shifting its better behaved for stop and go driving.
I did not have any clunking on deceleration or stops like I did previously.
1.04 Behaves almost like it came with the truck stock.

I’d give it a try folks its worth it.
