ok, maybe it isn't me then. I only drove the 91 1.04 tune for like 25 miles, but it seems a little less powerful SO FAR than the 1.03 87 tune. Anybody else notice this SO FAR...? Should I have reflashed the 1.03 TCU and 1.04 ECM at the same time to zero everything out again? I only did the 1.04 ECM. I am not noticing much of a difference besides smoother shifting a little.

OK so no need to reflash the TCU? Thing is the 87 1.03 seemed to have more power than the 91 1.04 so far

I was able to get quite a few miles in on 1.04 since I was able to load it a bit sooner than everyone else so far the things I have noticed are one immediately is the tip in, which in my opinion is now perfect no more breaking the tires loose when accelerating from a stop in slick road conditions, Idle is now so smooth if it wasn't for the rumble of the exhaust I wouldn't be able to tell it was running, on 1.03 there was still a little roughness to it also while idling with the blower on it would constantly kick up the RPMs which was a bit annoying but that also has been reduced to the point that I barely notice it anymore alright now onto shifting I've never really liked the way it drives in D mode but I did drive in it for about the first 30 maybe a few more miles and for me I still don't like the shift points but might be more due to the TC not being locked more often like in S mode also 4th still holds on and doesn't want to shift into 5th after letting off the accelerator between 50-60mph trying to feather the pedal won't help either I'm not sure if it's because of my mods not being properly tuned for or not since these trucks just don't all act the same from what I've seen posted on here however in S mode which is what I normally drive in it drives beautifully for me, just love the way it shifts in S mode I know exactly how the truck will react based on how much pedal I give it, also I have noticed that it does seem a bit smoother shifting overall. Now just waiting for the customized tuning to start.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that that when flooring it from a stop it'll hit the fuel cutoff when it shifts to second gear I'll be getting the chirping high pressure fuel pump TSB done on this coming Wednesday so I'll see if that fixes it.

I know. I made that video.

The reason I’m saying this is because if you did 1.03 last.. if you don’t change it back, you’ll write 1.04 to the gearbox.

I did 1.03 87 and I didn't have to change anything before flashing 91. Are you supposed to flash the TCU to the gear box? Or to the canbus?

Uh-huh. Because I flashed one after the other without changing anything from the drop down but I didn't notice anything wrong
