Re-download! Check file size, it should not be 1 mb, it should be bigger, like 300 mb or something, if it is 1mb it didn't download properly. Happened to me.

If it doesn't download correctly by just clicking on the link, right click and choose 'save as'.

my laptop decided to die when my battery hit 25%, luckily through what I learned through reading almost all 817 pages of this forum I knew what to do, I finally got my tune flashed and so far with 20 miles on the tune I like the new throttle tip-in a lot better. overall I don't feel very much changes just a smoother idle and throttle curve. but I did switch from the 87 tune to 91 tunes and so far I'm liking the extra power. now to save money for twin turbos.:burnrubber:

Hmm, I shortened the name when I did save as. Dunno why that worked vs just clicking the link.

Do you have another browser installed to try it from? Like chrome vs IE?

I'm not near my PC or I'd zip it and send it to you.

Agreed. The tip in was nice. Don't understand why there were so many complaints. I'm pretty stock except for falken 10ply tires. Could never really chirp them .

Another vote for the 1.04 throttle tip-in being good. I'm guessing the folks who prefer the 1.03 tip-in probably drive aggressively. I spent a lot of time messing with different 'touches' on the gas pedal with 1.03, and it was annoyingly laggy and 'digital' with a gentle touch, but when doing jackrabbit starts, it was smooth. So far, 1.04 is equally smooth for both mellow roll-outs and hard launches.

With 1.04, the truck downshifts more smoothly and predictably on the steep/curving hill I described in a previous post. It's still a little weird to feel the converter lock up after each downshift, but the tune seems to like full lock when climbing hills in general. Guess that's just a feature.

Glad to hear about the possibility of customizing shift points in the future, since I'm one of the folks who would prefer to see lower rpms when cruising under light throttle at 25-30 mph.

I'm with you on wanting lower rpms when cruising at those speeds. My entire commute to work is at 30mph, and I always have to pump it up to 32 or 33 for it to shift into 4th or I'm only getting like 10-12 mpg on my way to work and that just seems absurd for rolling at 30mph.

Yeah, only reason I haven’t brought it up is, im afraid it’ll affect the way the truck performs in 3th or 4th.

Load based shouldn't affect it much, light load and have it change at 1900rpm for instance. It's most notable when I'm trying to not be hard on the engine on first cold start, it takes so long to change for the 30mph road I'm on.

    I agree with this.

I drove about 100 km today on the new tune. I love the initial tip in, but as someone else said I find highway speeds aren't as enjoyable now as you have to give it more pedal to stay at 100 km/hr or 60 mph.
