@OVTune, I already emailed you about the harsh downshift on 1.04 91 04B03, and provided data logs. Do I need to submit a new issue request via Flash Manager 1.10 once it's released?

I don't want to report same thing via multiple channels if that create extra work and confusion for you.

So I've gone through quite a process so far to get everything registered and set up. I am all the way to the point where I am downloading and flashing a new version of the calibration file, but I cannot download the file I need through flash manager. It seems to be a glitch. I push download file, and it says "file download complete". The file it stores has a proper name, but is 0KB. If you put it in PCMFlash, it says the file is corrupt. I think it is trying to download 1.03C, ideally shouldn't I be able to download 1.04?

I have the 6MT so I am on an older version of flash manager. I cannot find a link to download anything newer than V1.0. My ECU is 04B12.

Anyone have any ideas what might be happening? I sent Mat an email about a day ago but I have not seen a response yet (he's usually lightning fast!)

I remember someone else mentioning this problem a couple pages ago, although I can’t remover their fix. Do a quick search and hopefully you’ll be able to find the fix. GOOD LUCK!

@OVTune I don't mean to be annoying, but are we talking weeks or a few months for orders to reopen after 5/15?

I must say - I was initially not 100% sold on the shift points (esp. for 3-4 and 4-5) but the more miles I get on the tune the better the shifting feels. I know it doesn't learn (much) but it does seem to have settled into something that feels quite natural. Curious if others have had a similar experience where they initially wanted different shift points but as the tune has settled in they have better lined up with your expectations?

I smile every time I slightly press the skinny pedal and feel the quick transition from AC to Otto along with crisp engagement of VVT and a buttery downshift. So snappy and smooth! Excited for those getting kits and ordering!

He nailed 1-5 for me. I just wish it would stay in 6th at 75 mph more. I've never had a vehicle run in 5th gear because of a 10-15 mph crosswind/headwind and downshift to 4th for an overpass. Weak

It is better than stock though, I should mention that.

Yeah, but are your MPGs suffering? Given how tall the gearing is (although it felt weird for me initially) I now prefer how it holds 5th below 70ish which greatly minimizes shifting and the only real downside I could potentially see in running 5th vs 6th would be MPGs and I'm getting my best ever MPGs on the highway right now. I think your comment is certainly valid b/c you don't expect to have to downshift from overdrive b/c of a wind but I do think we're coming to the trucks mechanical limitations there. He can force it to stay in 6th but then you get bog.

Mileage is defenitely up. Today on a 50 mile trek with 17 mph wind I got 19 mpg while mostly in 5th.. Been seeing 21/22 on a normal day, which is excellent.

Perhaps - but the transition from very low load to high happens effortlessly regardless.

I went with a different re-program and it is wonderful. No problems with lag, shift points, shifting and more than enough power. Mileage has improved too.
