some pieces are being worked on but it's still drive-able. It actually ships across the country next week to turbosource for the rest and install. There has been some changes in the setup, possible single turbo kit option so that it's not going to break the bank. Also decided to use different turbos too. Haven't updated about the turbo build status in a long time but we are going with EFRs instead. Quite a few changes that I haven't had the chance to share,
after the move I will have a lot more info about the upcoming things

I was happy with 1.04 initially, but am liking it less lately. It seems as if the the truck is learning bad behaviors similar to stock. I am +1 on tire size on 91 tune with a steel front bumper am winch.
    1. Lots of throttle input required to maintain speed on the highway.
    2. Appears to be gear hunting more frequently as I log about 750 miles a week.
    3. With ECT on these symptoms go away, but keeps the truck in 5th gear under 75mph.
    4. Fuel economy in town is great (19 on average). Mpgs on flat highways between 65-70) are better than average also since the truck will hold 6th gear at 1600-1800 rpms (18 mpg avg), but the gear hunting on moderate inclines is much worse on 1.04 than 1.03 in my opinion.

Yes, around 10 mph coming to stop. No clunk if I'm coming to stop gradually. Clunk during moderate to hard stop. Happens when cold and warm. The clunk coincides with the disengagement of 2nd and engage first gear.

I emailed you data logs May 3rd, 10:36pm CDT.

I let the truck cool 4 hours then took it out again. I still have the same clunk from 2-1 downshifting as I had pre-tune. It really used to get on my nerves, but it always goes away once the truck is warmed up. I personally don't have a problem with it anymore. The way the truck runs after the OVTune I could care less about it!

Awsome!! Thanks for the update. Looking forward to the future. This 3rd gen has alot of potential despite all the issues we as a community have had with it stock from the stealership.

I wish it drove all the time like it does when ect is on. Feels great.

It does take a lot of throttle input when in 5th and 6th to maintain speed vs the other gears.

Being my first time tunning do I have to wait for the new flash manager to come out? This is the message I get when trying to download the available flash manager.B0077414-1878-4D89-ABAD-D1BF8EFC16E8.jpg

There's definitely something blocking that file. You can see in one of your previous screenshots that the file size is zero. That's a clear indication that it's being blocked. I would check the windows services and see if defender or some other anti-virus programming is running a service and stop the service from running.

Making our way back home, and wife driving first half.

Do notice as others have mentioned that the tune holds fifth gear more. Even at 70 and on flat roads. This is better than stock as it would just do the 4-6 6-4 shuffle, but you almost have to completely let off the pedal for it to shift from 5th to 6th.

Also seems like low grade gas or gas with overall lower btu content kills any possible power gains from the 87 104 tune.

I’m in the camp of really liking 1.04 so far. Probably have 750-1,000 miles on it.

I always had the clunk, was very pronounced on my truck with 1.03.....totally gone thus far on 1.04. Loving that part as the clunk really bothered me before.

Living in the suburbs, I like the tip-in on 1.04. Much nicer for around-town type driving.

Gas mileage is the best I’ve had so far. Last week coming home from a vacation weekend, up the short side of a mountain pass, down-side was longer and was stuck beind a U-haul and a trailer so driving 55-60 and light throttle, managed 26.3 mpg over 90 miles. After getting home and finishing off the tank normal driving, that tank average was around 21. Normal highway cruising in the 65-70 range seems to get around 22 mpg, city seems around 18.

I was also one of those who complained about the 90 degree turn falling-on-face problem. 1.04 has solved this. Plenty of go coming out of a turn now.

If I had to criticize any part of 1.04, for me it would be around town driving between 30 and low 40’s mph range. I’m still hitting 5th gear sometimes as low as 33 or 34 mph in traffic. This causes some 5-4-5-4 gear hunting during these speeds, as there’s just not enough go in 5th below 43ish mph.

Overall very happy with 1.04 (87).

I have the clunk. :( Not a real big deal considering the improvements to everything else. It is annoying though. Sounds like my driveshaft is going to fall off. Just a dumb question though if after I flashed and the truck starts up even after flashing the tcu, that means the flash installed correctly right? Just wanted to make sure I am running the tune and not still on the stock tunes. I also wondering because my mpg dropped to 16.x from 18.x before tune. BUT that could be from me driving a little more aggressively..... lol
