An 8psi twin turbo would fix this Tacoma.

A 40psi twin turbo would do bad bad things to my Tacoma.

Dang man, that would essentially triple the power. For about 2 pulls and then explode! I could see 12-15 psi with a 3-5 second boost spike to 18-20psi. 'Course that would be with 93 octane...

It's all irrelevant because Mat has said plans changed and he's looking at single turbo options. Partly to help keep costs down for buyers

Key word being "options". Pretty sure he said he's still going ahead with the twins, just not the same ones he initially guesstimated.

You're correct about them being a different brand. If he is still planning to go ahead with TT, my bad then. Misunderstood.

I could be wrong, gonna be honest though only reason I frequently this thread is for crumbs about his turbo plans....

    *Edit*

Both can make the same power. Twins just make power sooner and put less stress on all components. Typically you can go a tad bigger running twins vs a single setup. In the end it is all about overall airflow not a specific psi. The heads and cylinders are only gonna handle so much pressure until you either lift a head or cause detonation.

There's turbos now and we're all doing burnouts without you.

    Jk

Sorry about your father, I had a father figure pass recently as well.

Some people have a clunk with 1.04, some people don't.
No new dongles for a while, lots got sent out today. The logging program should be out (soon)ish? For custom tunez.

    That's bout it.

Same. Had clunk with 1.04, flashed back to 1.03, clunk gone. Same observation regarding mpg. Stock everything TRD Pro. Emailed logs to Mat while back. Hopefully he is looking into it, he said it could be related to the different calculated torque between 1.03 and 1.04.
