Yes, please post the new instructions if you get them before me! I sent an email earlier asking how to do the new install with no dongle

 

That’s awful! I’m still waiting for the next update from UPS.

 

Mine is out for delivery, so should be waiting for me when I get home from work. Hopefully the new instructions/dongleless flashing will be sorted out quickly. I probably won't try to flash until at least Saturday so I may have a few newb-like questions in the next day or 2.

No, just instructions to get instructions. But, that link looked like the old dongle instructions.

 

Does anyone know how to download past tunes? I want 1.03 but just came in when 1.04 was available

Matt, I'm not sure how many people would be interested in this, but is there a way to make S-Mode just lock the gears and make it completely manual shift? The 1.04 91oct tune is a night and day difference between stock and I love it. Thing is the truck still shifts more than I like. Around 45-55 mph is pretty much my hate zone. You hit a little hill below 2k in 5th gear and it starts down shifting, which is super annoying when you only have maybe 30 seconds until you've crested the hill and it up shifts again. It's not anywhere as near as bad as stock, but it still kinda makes me regret not getting a manual.

@OVTune just received my tune today thank goodness! Ran into a little bit of a hiccup from the start though. I’m on your website and I’ve downloaded the install directions but it only has directions for the kits that came with a dongle. My new kit did not, will the install directions differ much?

 

We’re all stuck in the same spot. Whoever receives them first share with the rest!

I felt so left out and needed to ask, and I have a dongle.. :-D

 

110% in with you on being able to manually shift the auto trans. Been asking about this since the beginning. Honestly, at this point, I'm willing to pay more to get that done. Highway driving with any wind still makes this f#(%ing thing shift down to 4th at 75mph. If we could just lock it into 5th or 6th gear at 70+ mph and use the little bit of torque the motor puts out, that would be great.

 

Super stoked that my kit arrived as promised this afternoon! I work a 24 hour shift tomorrow so I'm hoping by Saturday morning when I get home there will magically be some dongle-less clarity shared on this thread to get us amateurs up and running our new tunes. The tech intimidation factor held me back from pulling the trigger until now but I'm all in for figuring this out (with a little help from my TW friends!). Thanks in advance for the help I'm sure I'll be seeking and thanks Mat for the added assistance I hope you'll be providing (hint hint). Seriously, we can do this. All for one and one for all!
