I’m assuming it’s only suppose to show ID# because that’s what the instruction example has. Then you email all that information to them to get it registered.

Don't think you can until you get the registry file back from Matt and install it.

I’ve installed the drivers. Idk if it’s a windows issue but for some reason it’s not extracting to p5flash.

you'll have to disable windows defender before the pc5flash will work....and if you turn it back on after you get it installed it will kill it.

Windows defender has been turned off this whole time. I have mcafee spyware, would it have anything to do with that? I have disabled the firewall and scans before trying to download.

its after I run p5flash.exe a compressed folder comes up. I open it, then applications openport2_setup and p5flash are available. I click on open port and a notification pops up “this application may depend on other compressed files in this folder. For the application to run properly it recommends that you extract all files” so I’m guessing when I’m extracting the files its going to the wrong location?

    do this :
    go to OVT Softpack.zip
    right click > extract here
will extract everything to new folder as uncompressed
open that folder > install drivers

If you are trying to run it from the compressed folder without uncompressing that can happen

I had to completely delete McAfee to get it to work. Windows Defender you can turn off but it will still do real time scanning so you have to make sure the scanning is off to.

I’ve got it to where it’s an uncompressed folder and the extract notification is no longer there. But when I open up the uncompressed folder the two applications are still there and when I install the drivers it’s asking for a location to install to and if it’s to the same OVTSoftpack folder it does not open up in p5flash. I still feel like it’s asking to directly install it to p5flash but it doesn’t give me that option if that makes sense.

ah okay, just install it to default folder it lists. should be something like "c/program files/openport/ etc..." same like installing any program. I am a little confused on what you are trying to do. You just need to install the drivers, nothing else. The drivers are not related to P5Flash, you don't open it with P5Flash or anything like that.

if you are talking about this screen, don't change the location just install to default location:

Ok so I just downloaded the drivers successfully to the default folder. When I open up P5Flash should I see options in the interface box or not? As of right now I still don’t see anything.
