Same here. I hadn't planned to buy until the beginning of June, but when I heard that there wouldn't be any more kits until July, I went ahead and put my money down. Right now I am busy getting rid of all the 87 still in the tank. Even after reading through the thread however, I still started checking my inbox for a reply 10 minutes after I clicked send..... even though I know better. <Breathe In> <Breathe Out>

 

I got my hopes up last night with the comment about 2-3 am California time. Should’ve known better. Lol

 

To be fair, Mat clearly stated awhile back that he was going out of country and his time would be limited......maybe you should of waited until he got back instead of being impatient. To everyone who is constantly posting about not receiving this and not receiving that.....chill out. Be glad he's working it in during the little down time he has.

 

Most of are chill. I am, but counter point. He chose to sell them before he left. He could’ve waited until he got back to avoid this. So therefore, we shouldn’t have to be “glad”. I’m thankful he is working his ass off and it’s getting done, but I also get the frustration. I am part of the people waiting for my stuff to be done.

I’m hoping he gets it more streamlined for the future for his sake. It’ll help him sell more products. I’m patient, but everyone has limits.

 

Truth. That's why I'm not breaking his inbox with messages every 7 minutes...aside from the $1.8 million he has made since last year on this tune, I feel bad for him :-D

 

I’m just lost on the “few hours comment” and “2-3am Cali time” if your going to post it. Follow through with it.

 

It basically comes down to having the components and waiting for the tune files, or not having anything and waiting to purchase. Yes, we’re all wanting to get our truck tuned and enjoy the updates Mat provides, but at the end of the day you’ll be waiting one way or the other. Luckily, I’m about to take off on a 3,300 mile trip on the harley, so I’m sure by the time I get back I’ll have an email from Mat with the tune files. It’s all about perspective.

 

Maybe a $500k in REVENUE assuming he's tuned ~600 3rd gens by now, with 1/2 that being cost of doing business / dongles, Tactrix, etc., He's made some good money on his time no doubt, but the 3rd gen alone hasn't made him a millionaire. It can and will as he streamlines it and continues to add options though.

 

...I wasn't serious about the arbitrary number I used in my post, I was just exaggerating to make a point lol.

 

To be fair this is the only form of info we have when some get a delivery. If you don’t ask you don’t know and yes I find comfort knowing I’m not alone and didn’t slip through the cracks. You don’t have to read our comments you know....
