    I have a 2018 TRD Pro, mine looks to be a 04A70.

PS. I’m in Fairport, cool to see someone local on here.

Unlikely there will be cases in the future like this. Nearly all delays on kits beforehand were waiting for dongles, and then software setup issues.

I think (hopefully!) I'm panicking over nothing! Just a case of "mis-remembering" all the info in 928 pages of facts, figures, and a lot of crapola. Saw the "A" in my ECU code and thought it meant "older" ECU, but I think it's ok. PLEEEEEEEEASE be ok!

Awesome! We'll have to compare notes (or beers!) when our tunes are up and running!

I had this exact issue. I had to re-register/activate my dongle using the code matt sent me. Idk if you have the dongless version though.

Yeah it’s the same computer. I originally downloaded the programs from your web site that were referenced on the card included with the unit, once I figured out those were the wrong ones I delegated them from the computer and I think I took the correct ones out as well. I re-downloaded the correct files but I think it messed up the registration. Ugg.

89 will work fine with the 87 tune. 93 will work fine with the 91 tune.

So, I know there are a batch of us waiting for our tunes to arrive. For those of you who have had both the 1.03 and 1.04 tunes, can you give us a brief summary of why you stayed with 1.04 or reverted back to 1.03? I will be going from stock to the 91 version of one of these tunes, but I am having a difficult time deciding which one will work best. Any thoughts and/or observations greatly appreciated.

I'm on 87 octane. There was a dead spot for me on .03, I think between 3rd and 4th, I would be accelerating and it would fall off, I had to give it more gas to get accelerating again. .04 fixed that . .04 is smooth all over and better gas milage for me. Haven't ran 91 .04 so I can't comment there. .04 just drives like the truck should have come from Toyota. I wasn't really looking for more power, just driveability.

I'm in the exact same boat, awaiting final tune file and contemplating 1.03 vs. 1.04. I've been running Ethanol-free 91 for the last couple of fill-ups, so I was planning the 91 tune all the way. Seems the majority are happier with 1.04 but more than a few are going (or went) back to 1.03. The .04 crowd doesn't seem to dislike .03, they just like .04 better (smoother, more refined, better highway gear holding, better mpg). It's the .03 preferring crowd that even has me questioning at all because some really dislike .04. Yeah, I know, try them both. I'd like to flash it once, and with the "better" version. Like Kilowog, any insights are appreciated. Fortunately, either one should be much mo betta than stock! Thanks!

The bigger tire guys liked the more aggressive tip in on .03. Also it seemed the ones that went back to .03 felt like it had more power. I feel .04 has as much power, just not the hit, smoothed out..

Thanks PhogDog. I've got the stock PRO tires and definitely want to feel "more power" but sounds like it's delivered more civilized in .04. I keep hearing smooth and buttery, both of which are part of what I'm aiming for. Leaning toward 1.04, and if I'm not sufficiently satisfied (unlikely), I'll try 1.03. Appreciate your thoughts!

Are you pretty happy with the highway driving 70mph+? I’m regeared to 4.88s with 285/70/17 tires. Right now my truck fights gears anytime there’s a headwind/crosswind. I’m hoping 1.04 does the trick.
