4.88s and 33s- you definitely want 1.04. The aggressive throttle tip in is ridiculous on 1.03! I will be regearing to 4.56s whenever I have the extra $1300...

I disagree with that statement . 1.04 91 felt more sluggish is the best that i can describe it . Cant hold 5th & 6th on the slight inclines. It had the gear hunting affect on the Highway. Not to mention that the clunk when coming to a stop! That felt horrible! Switched back to 1.03 91 and truck has come back to life holds 6th gear on the same daily commute on those same slight inclines and it has acceleration at that speed with out the down shift. No more clunk. 1.04 to me seems was more for the stock trucks with there feed back being so positive. Again i have 285/70/17's , 4.88 re-gear, winch bumper, steel skids all the way back including fuel tank, RTT with all the rack goodies. 1.03 91 works best for my truck! I would say try 1.03 91 first then try 1.04 91 see what works best on your truck! Again this is what works for my driving style and my truck.

Do you have 4.88's and 285/70/17's on your truck? The tip in is awesome for trucks with the lift ,tires, gears, heavy mods.

Have to agree with how awesome it feels. Truck feels light and nimble. Just wish it got the mpg of 1.04 around town. Every stoplight drinks more fuel with 1.03

I am not seeing a big difference in MPG's could be because i had to be a lot heavier on the throttle with 1.04.

Really? Could be you are heavier than me and bigger tires. I’m 300lbs armor and winch. 265/75 16. With 1.04 91, after it settles the power to weight ratio is nice and I easily get 20 mpg. With 1.03 87 I was getting 15.4mpg, but it felt good (fun factor)

I think the Tires and 4.88's are the difference .

    Where you want to be
I noticed in your screenshot that is says ToyFlash (1.0.0). IF you have the dongless kit, did you download v1.0.9? I forgot to check what my version said at the top left of FlashManager when I retrieved my ECU ID.

I downloaded what was on the dongleless instructions and followed that so I did download flash manager, the drivers and the pcmflash which is Toyflash. I also have no anti-virus installed on the laptop and disabled every piece of firewall or windows defender real time monitoring that I could find

Have you guys tried out the 87 tune for 1.03? I've gone back and forth and to me, it's pretty much is between 1.03 (91) and 1.04 (91). It's aggressive without being jerky or the clunk. The only thing you may really miss is the extra power at the higher end of the RPM range (which I'm rarely in that range).

For me 1.03 on 87 has been perfect since it's definitely peppier AND cheaper.
