He has said many times in this thread that handheld units are not compatible with the 3rd gen Tacoma's complicated ECU. This is as good as it gets.

I’ve messaged mat regarding selling my dongled kit. I want to make sure whoever purchased it is able to use it without issue and save some money.

Because none of the other reviews and testimonies can help you determine that o_O

    a few...
After installing 1.04 91oct OV Tune yesterday morning I love what Mat has done to make our trucks properly drive able & fun to drive. I only drove about 20 stop & go miles but a smile was on my face the whole way. The truck idles so smoothly, acceleration is awesome, power is ready & waiting when needed and no more gear hunting. I’ll right a proper review once I get some miles on the tune in the review thread.

    Thank you @OVTune Mat

To all new people that have flashed your truck, welcome and congratulations!

One thing @OVTune has said many times along with other members that have been here from the start (thank you
guys) that I haven’t seen posted lately is that you have to DRIVE the truck. Not everything is instant. Put some miles on it and it gets better. It’s not only your truck that’s changed but you have to adjust and relearn how to drive it again. It behaves completely different. It’s like getting a new truck.

Sure, there might be some minor quirks or issues but Mat can get them worked out. He’s gone above and beyond with this tune and it keeps getting better. This tune is still new and I’m sure adjustments are tested and tested before they are even mentioned to us. He went and bought a truck to work on and test with.
Yes, we might be anxious but I don’t think we can expect him to be available 24/7. He already had a gig. Add in the Tacoma R&D, packaging & shipping products, replying to emails, moving across the country, and having to travel around the globe for work. Dude needs a break some time. Lol
I personally like that he’s not a big company. It’s a custom tune and feels more personal. I know who’s doing all the work to make my truck better. I know who to contact if I need to.

Thanks @OVTune for everything you’ve done!

Got my 1.04 flash today and drove 80 miles on the freeway. This thing is amazing! Feels like the 4.0L from my 07. Very response.
Dongleless works just fine, though I didn't see a way to make a backup of stock before flashing.

Just arrived in North Carolina. Roughly 550 miles this morning/afternoon. Truck averaged around 22mpg on the 1.04 87 octane!
