Thanks for the guidance youse guys. I patiently explained the TSB to my dealer today. You could tell the guy didn't want to promise me anything and they were really weird about how long it was going to take and so on and so forth.

Turns out I appear to be the first one they've handled the TSB for at that location. Went from 04B01 to 04B03. It's not even been touched by Matt yet and it felt a little better. I checked when I got home and sure enough, they flashed it. Man, 04B01 was such a derpy tune. I very much look forward to seeing how Matt's tune changes things. All in due time. I sent him my ToyFlash info tonight. Again, thanks for the guidance.

I believe there is only a few people left and then we are fully "caught up" working on having that finished tonight.

Once we finish those up, we will go live with our new communication system. This will help us keep track of everything and make the process much more efficient.

once our new support portal is live, and we have all current customers taken care of, our new info / FAQ, and whatnot finalized, we will see what we can do. I may be able to do a software only option and you have to purchase the cable separately from the manufacturer since I'm out of the states.

But I want to get everything I've been working on implemented first. Should be complete this Friday.

Sorry to double post, but my first attempt in the Auto Trans page received nothing but crickets.

I’m one of the lucky ones that has the tune, but can’t even pull the serial number to begin the process...

I’ve downloaded all files for the last of the dongle based tunes...no luck with pulling the serial number. I’ve tried the files something like 10-20 times now. Using Windows 10.

I keep getting “Dongle not accessible” like a few others.

Can someone post either the solutions they’ve achieved and/or a screen shot of the exact file structure because when I install, the downloader attempts to place some folders in other locations.

Any and all help is appreciated, I do have the same questions into Matt, but he is obviously busy so whatever you have, I’m willing to try in the meantime.

 

Skip the entire dongle process, download our dongle-less software. it's 100x easier.

Starting june 10th all of our customer contact will go through our new zendesk portal : support@ovtune.zendesk.com


my plan is to thoroughly clean out my inbox tonight (gmail). After that it will be sending auto-replies to go to our zendesk.
After June 10th, our gmail will no longer be actively looked at (and will auto-reply to go to our zendesk).

this allows me, or my dealer Rafael to get to everyone, quickly.
This allows us to also accurately track everyones tickets, status, issues, etc.


my gmail will be emptied tonight. Anything that needs replied to, it will be today.

Software only kits will be available soon, for people who would like to get the tune, you will have to purchase the OBDII cable separately ( from tactrix.com) until after I return from asia.

I have Mon-Fri Free daily here now to get everyone taken care of.

 

This is awesome, as long as it's clear what OBDII cable to buy. I logged in to their site to check, and I couldn't figure out which one, or what to buy. I might even consider waiting for the full package from you, just to avoid confusion. But if it's clear, I may try this route. Thank you either way for offering options.

Side question. Is there any negative to buying when it becomes available, if I won't be able to use it until like August? I apologize for the question. I just want to make sure. I get back from deployment in August and will be using it then. Thank you in advance.
