They usually respond with generic responces. They joke around in the comments with me and another forum member though.. They are air tight on any info regarding the third gen tacoma supercharger unfortunately

 

Awesome! It sounded like they were but just wasn't sure if OP was going to consider the tune for the boost package a separate product. Thanks for the quick answer!

 

I dont want to put words in Mat's mouth but I'm assuming the tune for boost would remain a free update. I think of it as a custom tune of sorts, something that he has already said will not cost extra for customers.

 

He said that the tune will be included in the price of the package

 

Take it easy on me guys.. If I have 1/4 tank of 89 left and I fill up with 91 can I install the 91 tune without screwing anything up?

Anyone using a Mac with windows 10 via bootcamp to upload the tune?

 

I think you’re do for an ice cream cone run.... on the other side of town. Then you need to run down to Lowe’s and get a new drill. Oh, and you forgot bits so you have to go back. Once home, offer to go get takeout, again on the other side of town. Now your ready.

Or, if you can find it top off with 93. That would ratio out to greater than 91.

 

I use a Mac with Bootcamp and Windows 8.1.

Just curious because of nearly 1000 pages. Where does the new tune stand? Nearly perfect, perfect, still kinks? Is anyone running this on a stock 17?

 

I’d say 80% perfect. Stock ‘18

 

I’d call it 90%.... the minor quirks that are still there are the kind id likely just put up with if it came that way stock. For me the tune has addressed 90% of my concerns with the stock tune - to the extent the hardware allows in its current form anyway
