Because you’ve just resetted your ecu. It takes time to and cycles to get them to ok itself.

You would have to uninstall the whole turbo setup for that! No thanks. Damn now i have to wait for certain supercharger company .. ugh

So you flash the truck 2-3 weeks before your test. I don't see a problem here.

I thought we were discussing the TUNE, not the turbo + the tune. My bad.

No worries. The tune by itself is already compliant. Were taking about the turbo setup

I ran into this issue when I went to go read the truck's DTC and test the connectivity. This worked when I flashed the truck with 1.04A a month or so ago. Now I don't understand why p5flash now generates this error.
This laptop is used for a couple of other things besides OVTune and I uninstalled some programs that I added recently, to eliminate their involvement with this issue.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. This is true. The other part of the statement posted about Russia was not true. That is all.

so here's one to think about. I was in Oregon last week visiting family. I stopped at a gas station to top up before driving back to washington. in Oregon you can't pump your own gas. I told the guy to fill it with clear (non ethanol) super. after he pumps the gas he tells me he filled it with regular. I'm on the 91 tune & freaking out telling him they have to get the fuel drained. he tells me they don't have a way to do that. luckily my sister has a "17 taco and wanted me to get the tune for her truck - so I had my laptop and tuning kit with me to read her ecu info to send to ovtune. moral of the story is if you are on the 91 tune watch if someone else is pumping your gas.

    In progress.... And getting better!
Man that’s insane! I thought Oregon recently repealed that silly law.

I’m so confused. The guy put the wrong gas in your truck and couldn’t take it out but you used your tuning kit to read her ECU to send to OV and you’re lucky cause your sister has a 17 inch taco?

Something like that. Seems like he still had 87 octane but now his sister can get 91 octane.

It's hard to find gas in Oregon that doesnt have Ethanol. You usually have to find a station near a boat ramp or marina. They are around but you have to do some research.

From what I understand the repeal only applies to the larger metro areas. In most of rural Oregon you still can't pump your own fuel.

my truck had the 91 tune. the guy put 87 in my tank. I had my laptop and dongle kit with me to read my sister's trucks ecus so I could get her the tune. after he pumped regular into my tank I reflashed for 87. if I didn't have the tuning hardware with me I would have been stuck 3 hours from home.

You would have been fine if you kept the rpms under 3k.
