I have had this happen too but from a dead stop. Truck reved up to 4K I’m first and shifted to 2nd and fell flat then lurched forward. Have only had it happen once in 1k miles since tune.

Has anyone recently installed all drivers and flash manager for the tune using the dongle?
Every link I find for the Toyota flash manager download either Doran’s work or no longer exists
I kow I was supplied with one From yotadriver but that was for dongleless setup
Idk why this is giving me such a hard time
I’ve sent all the necessary numbers and codes to Mat
now all that’s left is running PCM flash manager to get my dongle serial number but I don’t know where to download it
And the file I have says that there is a virus and it doesn’t work

    I know
    That is for dongle-less tunes
I would go dongle-less but I’m tuning 2 trucks and have one computer

You need to stop the antivirus from scanning the location of where you plan to keep the PCM flash manager...and you need to do this BEFORE you download any of those files. My AV was deleting the PCM Flash manager (meaning it was NOT putting it into quarantine - it was strait up deleting it as soon as it was downloaded before I could even think of using it).

Once you've disabled the AV, THEN you'll have to re-download the PCM flash manager (and probably all of the other files just to be safe).

I had the same problem with Norton. I disabled Norton for an hour but it would still delete it. I swear I had disabled everything I could just short of un-installing it! lol Eventually I had to Google it, but basically I had to go deep into the scan settings and add a rule so that Norton would not scan the folder that I was putting all of my OVTune files in.

Since then, I have never had to worry about Norton doing anything to my OVTune stuff...meaning that I don't have to mess with Norton AT ALL when flashing my truck.

It's a stock tire/rpm issue. The truck tried to change to a gear it couldn't and said no, I've had it once too. He's fixing for us.

People... if you have McAfee or Norton installed.... uninstall it. It's useless. If you paid for it... unlucky.

WTF? As an "IT guy", you should know that's not a true statement. Don't spout misinformation like that...

Ditto - and I would actually pay for this service... beer, cash, whatever, I just want the tune done - I've got too much other stuff going on right now to deal with it.

Was hard to modulate with the tip in on 1.03 but don’t have that problem unless I turn ATRAC off on 1.04

Not for me, when it's raining and turn out of my driveway, hit the gas, traction kicks on. Then when I take a turn onto a slight incline and hit the gas to go up the incline, tire spin again
