crazy man! I just find the F150 ugly, always have... IF the Raptor Ranger does come
in 2020 that thing is going to be quick but from what I've read the cost would be mid $50's to
    about $60k.

Just one more post with praise for the tune... I have 4.88's, (5) 285's, RTT, topper, steel bumpers front and back, winch, racks, awning, basically everything you can do to add weight to this truck and have been driving in ECT every time I get in with a Shift Sense Pro. And it hasn't been horrible, just not awesome.

I bought into this tune thinking that everyone's exclamations were going to turn out to be a mediocre gain for me with all the weight I drive with.

That is NOT the case. Holy shit. It feels like my truck has nothing bolted to it and it still moves like a bat out of hell.

    Soooooo happy! Thanks again!

Not the tune, the Tacoma motor in general.
As much as I like my truck it seems the power/responsiveness of the 3.5l motor is decades behind everyone else.

Wow the 3.5L eco-boost has 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque....... damn I wish the Tacoma had that option.

Yeah but will it last for 637,982 miles? ;)

I'd be willing to trade a couple hundred-thousand miles of reliability for 50% more power.

The truck must have a beefy driveline to handle the extra power though . I doubt the driveline is the same for the 2.7 or even the 3.5 non raptor ecoboost . If not, there is going to be some axle snapping recalls in Fords future .

Is, it HAS been having reliability issues. Mostly oil burn but some have had worse issues. Ecoboost motors are not as bullet proof as everyone thinks.

    I owned a 2013 EB'd F150 with a tune. +60hp and +110ft/lb. It fought traction through 3rd gear on 35"s. It was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.

Being on a 6' BDS and 35" Ridge Grapplers with the Taco definitely has me watching the TT setup. Now to start saving $6-8k, plus another $5k for the transmission!!

Check out the reviews thread that's stickied for concise real-world reviews of the tune. If you decide you want it, then you need to buy the software from ovtuned.com and also order a Tactrix cable (which is outlined on the site). Then be prepared to wait anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks and be patient - it will take a bit of time. Then you can get the truck tuned and enjoy increased power, throttle response, better shifting, betting MPGs for many and an all around more predictable driving experience. Good luck and welcome!
