Did I read that correctly that the stock MAF sensor in a 3.5" housing is still maxing out? I picked up a 3.5 housing to fix that very issue

Edit: with proper rescaling of course

Yes in my case, but I'm sure this is very particular to setup so YMMV. Where did you find a 3.5" housing? I ended up just making one due to fitment challenges with my setup but it didn't seem like there was a whole lot of them out there when I looked.

Performance MRP, although after pulling mine back out and measuring it's only 3.25" ID but they have a 3.75"ID. Looks like they've updated the descriptions because when I bought mine, they only listed them as 3.5" or 4" with no indication if that was ID or OD.

With everyone jumping into the Magnuson supercharger for the 3rd gen, I’ve decided to pull the trigger on a Procharger kit for my 3rd gen. Should be seeing it around March.

This is Great! @SK808 is the first guy in hawaii with the Maggie. I think you'll be the first with Procharger. Eventually ill be TT... Would love to see the comparisons between the 3. Theres another guy on Kauai that has the Rotrex prototype but I think its in limbo for now.

Very curious how the procharger will do with the 3rd gen. I almost changed my mind to pick one up but figured I waited this long, might as well wait longer.

Unfortunately nothing as of late, I'm finishing my last semester of college before nursing school next year (hopefully) and I just got hired on as an EMT so I have been SLAMMED but I've got big ideas. I have actually been trying to find a shop around me that will do the Ratiotek kit but no one will touch it since its aftermarket. Lots of "oh we just replace whole transmissions" or "we don't do any custom work"

    Any suggestions??

Send in the valve body to IPT... Ratiotek is only good for doing yourself.

I definitely want to do the IPT kit but for the time being would the ratiotek not be a good idea seeing as its only 30 dollars opposed to the 600 dollar IPT?

I must apologize. I was thinking of the Level 10 kit, as the Ratiotek kit. No knowledge on the Ratiotek kit.

I have the ratiotek kit installed in my truck. With much reluctancy I got a mechanic at one of the local dealers to install it. (Keep in mind he is an absolute beast and also works on a top fuel sand drag rig which is why I trusted him). I think I ended up paying like $300 for it to be installed and thats including the price of new trans fluid to replace all the fluid that came out.
I have been happy with the ratiotek kit, shifts are definitely a lot firmer and quicker. There is a write up on this forum on how to install it yourself here if you are up for it:

The full IPT valve body job should have more capability than just doing the Ratiotek. You could do either one just to find out it's still slipping because the TQ converter is roasted. (which is usually the case with a750)

If you have power goals a fully built trans is the only logical option.

This is true. I am only aware of two maybe three people to build their transmissions. @Lucario Runner , who did it himself with Raybestos clutch packs, and @loginfailed who had IPT build his.

Kind of feel that there was another, but cannot remember where I saw it.

Does anyone make an upgraded torque converter for these trucks that you know of?
