I had a nice chat with Procharger the other day. I told em I have no intention of waiting for them to pop out an FJ kit. They were ok with that and wanted pics and info when its done. :)

The tuner kits omit injectors, hptuner/tuning, and fuel pump booster.(I wouldn't bother with that junk booster anyway..) They also have some flexibility as far as intercoolers are concerned, winch or no winch, or other custom sizes are no problem.

The tuner kit is now available for purchase though their resellers although they might not be aware of it yet.

Time to start collecting some parts.:headbang:

Sorry for the triple post here, but I like talking.

Is the stock 1GR FPR cool with the beefy in-tank pumps? I know from experience on some of my past builds that the stockers can get a bit overwhelmed.

I've not seen any real signs of the FPR being over run by the common drop in pumps.

Well I brought the truck up yesterday so its official. I got to see the kit for a 2011 they are doing and wow, it looks amazing. He has the winch intercooler which is taller but not as long. Also got see a brand new c8 corvette that looks like it was right off the trailer.

I will post my stock trucks dyno sheets when they get sent to me

Lol not really. But I feel like 206 isn't terrible since the truck is 13 years old

Is that Jaggedness at the top end normal?

Can't say I've seen that jaggedness before. Did you ask them after the dyno run? Almost seems like some sort of ECU correction going on.

206 is good for stock. That oscillation is strang.

Have you upgraded your fuel pump and filter yet?

Well alright then. Quite anxious to see how it improves.

I know there parts list states a voltage booster for the pump. I am pretty sure that this is what they are going to do. You’d know for certain. Any way you can get them to install a fuel pump upgrade kit, with a replaceable fuel filter? Seeing as how yours if plenty aged.

Or is that something that you’ll have to do on your own?

I mentioned the fuel pump booster to him and asked how much I would benefit from going to an upgraded fuel pump and he said that they do the booster because apparently our fuel pumps are difficult to change? I would definitely be on my own to do it and he said I would need to get it retunned if I went that route

    Just got this back

"We use a Mustang brand dyno with nearly no smoothing. The sample rate and look of the graph is much different than a Dynojet.

Here are a couple other baseline runs from Tacoma’s for comparison."

He sent me the dyno sheets from the other 2 tacomas they had in and they both had the same jaggedness but here are their numbers if you are curious

    2012 Automatic : 197hp 215ftlb

    2010 Stick : 219hp 238 ftlb

The fuel pump upgrade is a very easy upgrade. I have done quit a lot. Point being, is that if you get the kit from www.urdusa.com, it has excellent instructions. The more important factor here, is that your OEM, will be struggling hard to keep up with those demands, especially through a high mileage fuel filter.

I am not trying to scare you. Only inform you ahead of time to make a wise choice for engine fueling health.

I have a feeling that your Procharger kit is going to put out some good numbers. Probably a decent amount more than the bolt on TRD roots blower. You'll want to be able to safely supply that consumption.
