When you ran a smaller pulley, did you need to adjust your tensioner or run a slightly smaller belt?

Thanks. Same “stock” belt and all? Abut how much space is there between the belt on the idler and tensioner pulleys?

Yes stock Bando 6PK1790 , distance between which two? The tensioner is around an 80deg angle. The tensioner on these doesn't need a ton of pre-load.

I see , I would call it about 10mm. That pulley is different than depicted in the diagram and has tall ears on either end and is smaller in the middle.

Ok good to know. Mine has about that much space as well. Thanks for the info.

I’ve had the truck done for quite a while now, just been figuring out a tune. I found a local tuner that is going to custom tune it for me on Wednesday this week. So hoping everything goes well. I ended up putting a 3.4” pulley on it to get a couple more psi since we lose about 2-2.5psi where I live at 5000 ft.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Did you ever swap your fuel pump to a higher flow or do you still have the pump booster than comes with the kit?

I have an Aem 340 pump. Not a fan of the fuel booster get up.

Nice. I'll probably go that route at some point in the (hopeful) near future as well. My appt for tune is in a few hours. Hopefully I'll report back with positivity.

Everything went well getting it tuned yesterday. I only had one vac line I forgot to secure, that runs from the PCV valve to the intake mani. Zip tied it and it was good. It was a street tune so no dyno numbers. Truck runs awesome. I’m definitely looking into a fuel pump after getting it tuned. Probably going with the URD kit with the DW pump.

It seems this idler pulley is rubbing on the radiator hose clamp when the motor shifts. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?
