My question is how many people use their truck for work? What does your set up look like? Some of my more useful ideas have come from seeing how other Tacoma owners set up their rig. Thanks in advance for sharing. 20230418_173733.jpg 20230418_174031.jpg 20230418_173801.jpg

Where did you get the mounts for the rear spot lights on the sides of the bed?

You kinda need to define work. I use my truck for work but I haul different things for different tasks. I think you mean like an electrician, plumber or exterminator or pool service maybe?

Yes, work as you're using it as part of a trade. ie. I use mine as part of my small roadside assistance company I started a year ago. Thank you.

    Electrician here...
Truck's in the shop; no pics.

    -UWS 42" toolbox
-Milwaukee packout system secured with cable locks and cam tie-downs
-PPE, rain gear, muck boots, bibs, etc... sit on rear floor boards and back seat.

Everything but the UWS and it's contents come out on the weekend. I use it for work; it's not necessarily a 'work truck'.

To me, a 'work truck' has at least; ladder rack capable of carrying at least 4 ladders 6'-12' and gas card...lol.

I do residential landscape work. This is my bed setup, usually pull a 10x5 trailer, with 3 guys in the cab. The 40% seat has been replaced with a 45L fridge (38° water is awesome) that’s powered by a group 27 AGM and a hood solar panel.

I have the bed molle panels that work with my bakflip mx4 cover in the bed that I highly recommend.
