    1st side done.
    A2BFF925-810A-476C-8E4C-C509B429B9A3.jpg

11.75” of shaft showing. 12.25” distance from bottom of my bump stop to the top of the strike plate. Lower tabs are set at 0° referenced to a flat spot on the frame (rear end is jacked in the air so using a true 0° would be innacurate). Instead of doing a 10° forward lean I just guesstimated based off the other photos and it definitely had a forward lean which I’m happy with.

    Collateral damage from day 1:
    1. Marred the back of a bolt from my wheel hub with an angle grinder lol. Doesn’t impact anything but damn I lopped it pretty good.
    2. A nice little gash in my brand new bump stops when trying to carefully cut down my u-bolts :( Oh well.

Install isn’t terrible. 40 grit sanding discs are a MUST. Took all day for one side but I also did hammer hangers with a new leaf pack. Here’s to hoping tomorrow is quicker!

All done. I didn’t put the wheel spacers on as I don’t plan on wheeling for a bit. I’ll do some flex testing later down the road. Spent most of today making the driver’s side shock mount look like it was never there . Overall super happy with it. Lots of things changed all at once so I won’t have feedback for a while. I have a reverse taco lean (taller driver side) but maybe that’s just due to the suspension not being settled quite yet. Thanks @ARCHIVE for setting this up!

I have 285/75/16 Falken AT3’s. Went with 3/4” spacers but whether they’re required might go either way for me. Looked like I had plenty of room when my tire was semi-stuffed but I won’t know until I get a chance to slam it.

Dope! I'm crossing my fingers I can get away without spacer on 285s. I think you're the first person in this thread to get their kit on that's not on 35s.

Quick question for everyone running the Fox performance series shocks linked in the first post. Did you have to run any washers or spacers or did you bolt them right into the mounts? I’m just test fitting things while I wait for my brake lines to show up so I can install and I noticed there is about a 1/16” gap when the shock is placed in the tower and axle mount. It’s consistent on every part so I’m sure it’s deliberate but I wasn’t sure if folks are spacing it with a washer or if it’s to account for flex in the bushing and is taken out once torqued?

It's deliberate so you don't have to fight to get shocks in. Measure the shock steel sleeves with calipers and see how wide they are, should be 1.50"

Will this set up run this ok with an all pro expo leaf pack? If not, what off the shelf pack will work good?

Well my weekend/install didn’t exactly go as planned. Had some sand from last months dune trip fall out of a crevice into my eye disassembling stuff Friday. Scratched my cornea and couldn’t do shit on Saturday rockin an eye patch.

Got everything cut off, cleaned up, and mocked up yesterday and ready to weld but now it’s dumping rain for the next 2 days. Gonna play hooky Wednesday when it dries out to finish it up.

On average how long has it been taking to do the install? Finally got the shocks in and need to plan for truck down time and some shop space at work.
