    Awesome. Well that's what I was looking for. I am going to take the overload out as I don't think it's doing anything for me anyways. It's frowned way down. And the next leaf up and that should put me at 2" maybe 2.5 " in the rear which will give me a .5-1" rake like I wanted. So when I haul something it is level.

    Btw check your mail tomorrow and let me know you got a ridiculous oversized package in there

    Does the overload affect the ride?

    Now there is the kicker. If you don't overload your springs it shouldn't do much to your ride. Few pounds off your springs won't effect rate much.

    If you DO overload your springs there is nothing there to keep your springs from folding except your bumpstops. Some might say is we have too little an overload leaf to keep us from damaging the springs, and in part why our springs will wear out fast and bend.

    They are meant to be flat, or frown.

    Excited about the package! She will be whole again! Might have to put racing wire on them all in case I lose em on the trail next time!

    This is a 2013 spring with hardly any miles on it. Now the overload smiled. :)

    Plus the overloads give you about 1/2"-3/4" of lift.

    Finally happy with them. They go on this week. Paint is drying now.

    BTW. The AllPlo ubolt flip is 2.5" wide. So are Toytec's spring clamp brackets. Measured twice. Not bothering with grinding the new leaves to size.

    Longer pins are $7 @ Advanci Auto

    Fixed mine this weekend btw. I only took out the biggest leaf I added. I ended up at 25.50 on the rear from fender to hub. Front is at 23.25 driver and 23.50 passenger. So 2" higher in the rear. I didn't want a level look. Happy with it all now.

    Good to hear man...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Now that you guys have split your packs apart (Fuck that sounded wrong haha..) you ever stop to notice how other manufacturers (i.e; GM/Ford/Dodge/etc; config their leafs with different cut lengths/tapered dog ears diff. than reg dog ears, to get their springs where they need them to be....more to it than people think

    quickest way to fix that chock front tires jack up at the hitch in rear until wheels are almost eready to come off ground, thats a great place that your springs will be almost neutral, long stout flat blade screwdriver & a mallet to spread the ends, I'd avoid using a chisel, it could actually fracture either the ends of leafs or a projectile could chip off & almost take out your eye like I did, bloody fucking mess too, spread ends /place in the wear spot done, take you 15-20 mins, I use 3/32nds sheet U.S. rubber

    I agree with what you said about engineering, not only the dogears but also the taper of the springs. The toyota leaves on the 2013 pack seem to have much more taper on them than my 2006 leaves. Possibly to create a smoother transition when loading up each sequential leaf. I can see spending time with the grinder and getting a very different ride. Getting consistency is the trick though. Not to mention my ears are still ringing. Ear plugs next time for sure.

    I bought a cheap HF grinder locally. Not too bad for about 25$. I did open up the front gear box to grease it though, all it's grease had gathered in one corner and the gears were dry. Now it runs smoothly.

    Finally! Had some help from a buddy to get them in. My axle shifted, but a little help from a ratchet strap and a little luck, they locked in home.

    Tested them out big time. Still have to take measurements. I reused the toyota pucks by glueing them with gorilla glue after shaving the alignment stems.
