    You'd never know it , but yeah still sucking air haha:)

    As you can see , the single AAL is bearing the brunt of the load, no uniformity or support uniformity for the other leafs, you need to rebuild , they'll come back if done properly

    Thanks for weighing in despite all you have going on. Really appreciate it.

    So you think the main leaf is worth saving? If so I'm thinking to keep the main one and the AAL and swap in two beefier ones closer to the length of the main one than the AAL.

    Any opinions/suggestions from anyone are appreciated.

    Found a broken leaf today. 3 leaf non tsb with wheelers aal. I forget right now but i think its the leaf above the aal. I got mad and came inside to do research.

    Planned on buying new leaf packs but saw this thread. Made it an hour into reading and it seems most info focuses on the ability of the diy packs to handle off roading. What about carrying weight?

    I dont do much off-road. Nyc. But i do put two motorcycles in the back. Near 1000 lbs + cargo and passengers.

    How are they in conjunction with airbags?

    Hey Dud.
    Pull all the leafs you have now, add 3 or so leafs from Chevy, and drop the AAL.
    Most of the people doing the mod have had the greatest success using the main (toyota), and all Chevy for the remainder. The lift being adjusted by the arc of the new spring(s),and the load capacity by the number of springs installed.
    I would try to redo yours completely.
    Let us know the outcome.

    sounds like a solid plan, thanks. is there any way to estimate how much lift/load the donor springs will supply when looking at them in the junk yard? or on my work bench? trying to avoid taking them in/out over and over.... or is that how you have to do it?

    Well Shit... I was getting ready to go to the JY. I don't really have time to go through all that just to have it not work. Doug seems to think its salvageable and ge wrote the book on this thing.... Can I get a few more opinions? Rebuild or buy? I was actually think I would have to buy until Doug chimed in......
