    Depends on how hard you look. If you know anyone who has an old junker for or Chevy, and the chances are you do, then you can probly get the springs for little or nothing(free) like I did!

    Niiiiiice Chad !!!....:thumbsup::thumbsup: People, this is what I'm talking about, I don't know if anyone even remembers 2 years ago when I started putting up post about this MOD & the results & how little out-of-pocket $$$ it was.

    & maybe 4 peeps responded with inquiries (well actually,2 inquiries & 2 ridicules IIRC)

    I've been messing with springs front & rear since my Power Wagon straight axle days in the 70's (thats right , I'm old)

    I remember a few years back hearing about guys running 63" Chevy springs & I'd thought about doing it to my truck before , but wasn't in a hurry to start hacking away & relocating hangers so I did the next best thing & started incorporating Chevy & Ford springs into a build, because truth be known (& don't think anyone can argue) the first inch or 2 of compression from OEM springs is actually very good, problem is they never ramp up with any resistance to compression which results in a horrible mush all the way to the bump stops..

    Take those same 1-2" of nice compression & start throwing some American steel behind the main for some real spring rate & back them up with an upgraded shock & the proof is in the puddin', results don't lie...;):)

    Ok, read the entire thread and these posts stood out to me as I wan't to keep the current stance that I have now.

    Current rear setup is stock pack with Icon 3-leaf aal with NO TSB

    The aal gave me exactly 1.5" of lift which is what I want to keep. So I'm thinking (correct me if I am wrong Sir Doug) Remove all stock leafs and add "ONE" 34-40" leaf (depending on thickness of donor leafs)

    In the end I am looking at
    -Stock main leaf
    -donor leaf
    -3-leaf aal

    hoping this will keep me at my current height.

    Will post pics of my leafs so I can get better input from you Doug. If this works out and improves (I have no doubt that it will) look for a paypal donation to come your way:D

    Please DO take some pics for me, & pics of Icon AAL (wanna see how they're holding up, you may want to leave them out of the mix & just go 'Yota main & Chevy,Chevy, or ya know, wait a sec. do this config.: toyota main & with the removal of secondary spring, cut the bushing wrap off where it starts to skinny down, cut the other end off till you have equal distance from centerpin to ends of leafs, then add 2 chevy springs, dump overload, this would put you at about 2", but let me see pics first...;)
