Should post your paypal in the OP, or PM it to people when they want on your list.

After reading the entire thread I will be asking some friends and scouring yards to find 1-Chevy leaf to stiffen up and give me some rake. [TMain-TSecondary-Wheeler's 3 Leaf AAL-TOverload], I will take out the TSecondary and replace it with the chevy leaf.

    Think this will work?
2nd Gen Double Cab, OME 886x, w/nitrochargers all around.

I've got a line on a pair 2007 S-10 leafs for $50. They supposedly have 74000 miles on them. If they are in good shape should I grab them for this mod? Will they work. Not looking for lift, just some muscle under the bed.

Well before we get too far I want to emphasize that the S-10 I refer to is a commercial 1 ton flatbed with factory SUA, not many around that I've seen , but beautifully built springs, if you just want to firm up look for Chevy/Ford/ & probably your best bet, Dodge Dakota springs, they're relatively flat but slightly thicker, 1 per side....:)

    - Billstein 5100's all around with OME 885 coil springs. - K&N Air Filter - HID Headlights & Fogs - Kenwood Stereo & Infinity Speakers - CB Radio, - Fog On Anytime mod - Anti Tailgate theft mod. More comming...
    Hi Doug,

Not sure if you remember me. I was one of the guys that did that trail run about 2 years ago on pine valley where it was sort of raining and light snow as we climbed (When Derek busted his bumper and tail light on the rut).

Anyway, my springs suck when I load anything into the back, or even just with passengers. I carry camping gear & a cabin full of people often & it just bottoms out so often, it's horrible. I gained about a 2 inch lift up front from my 885 coils & I just want to strengthen the back up & keep it level with the front. Please send me a PM on how much it'll cost me for you to do your thing.

    Thanks.

Doug here are those pictures you asked for. Am I still looking at one Chevy each side? Should I replace the Second Leaf like I'm thinking or should I add the Chevy to what I got

Just some good general info in regards to dimensions of springs for a variety of makes/models/years (if accurate) Although they still list Chevy springs as 2.5" (& i still stand by that they're allllmost 2.5" but not quite)

I think those S-10 flatbed factory SUA's are some of the nicest springs I've seen yet... Just hard as hell to find, around here anyway...
