    Thanks to Doug at OMDs garage and the help from Chris to get this shit done. It was a long day and I am extremely happy with these new springs. Now i gotta work on the front rake again. Damn it. For an 11 I didnt think I had axle wrap but after these being installed its amazing how much of a difference they make.

    You mentioned the 1 Ton Toyotas, this would have been the pre-Tundra, T-100 if I am not mistaken. I did some research, some of the T-100 2 wheel drives were rated as 1 tons and their rear springs shared the common width as Tacomas (2-3/8"). It appears the 1 ton had a 3+1 spring configuration. While lesser rated trucks(1/2-3/4) had had 2+1. Just something to look for in donor springs.

    This would've been before any T100, Tundra or Tacoma, these 1 Ton Toyota flatbeds I speak of were built in the 80's & they looked like a normal SR5 truck, with the exception of the obvious flatbed & suspension

    Oh yeah, I've been doing both HVAC & architecultural sheet metal for almost 30 years & have seen more than my share of jobsite mishaps, everything from a "just slap duct tape on it" kind of injury up to "JUST RUN THE FUCKIN' LIGHT, HE'S GONNA BLEED TO DEATH " kind of thing...;)
