    I've been thinking about rebuilding my leafs hopefully to get about 4-5 inches of lift, I already have an aal thats starting to sag at least an inch since I put it on. I was thinking about taking out the aal and I have a set of 1 ton leafs from a 70s dodge 3500. Do you think there would be any negative effects using some leafs from a really heavy truck and then putting them into my leaf pack on my truck that probably weighs half as much? Or should I try to find a leaf pack from a 1/2 ton truck or something else?

    Also I'm not to worried about the truck being able to flex a great deal, as long as it doesn't ride like a stagecoach.

    Well if its a true 1 ton Dodge spring you may want to opt for something else, Dodge springs are known for having more thickness but less ARC so you'd really have to stack them on to get the lift you want which you still may not achieve the lift & it would def. ride like a buckboard, I'm pretty set on using the Chevy truck springs but which ever way you go make sure that they're the same (or real close) width as the OEM spring, got any pics of the Dodge springs ??

    Sorry don't have pics of them. a buddy told me I could have them and there off a 1 ton non dually they still have a good bit of arch. I might try them out before I go buy some Chevy leafs

    What is the point of asking a question, if your just gonna do the exact opposite from what the man is telling you. You can obviously see he knows what he is talking about as he has installed numerous leafs and I have yet to hear someone say they didnt work. Finding something and wanting to use it just because it was free doesnt hardly ever work out right. Enough of my rant. Good luck with that.
