Listen, Im sorry for causing trouble. I really like this forum and the people on it, so I'm not trying to bash anybody. But I don't appreciate sending a guy 5 pm's about something as small as this, when you could have just told me its no longer available... Doesnt make sense to me. when doing this do you notice more lift with a short bed then a longbed?

 

No worries & no hard feelings dude...

Hmmm, not really but thats a good question, I think it might look like its more pronounced on a short bed because you don't have the extra 2ft of bed & frame as a profile to go off of.... If any of that makes any sense

 

ya that's what I was getting at since a long bed has more weight didn't know if it mattered or not. cause I have been noticing that people have been getting 2.5-3 inches of lift and I would prefer to be on the 3+ side just wondering thanks

 

Oh, 3+ is easily attainable with taking your time & looking for donors with good ARC (Factory SUA trucks ) are what your looking for above 3"

 

SUA? Im going tomorrow to look I'm gonna be building off my existing 2 leaf pack. should I leave my overload on be good or would that give me to stiff a ride? I plan on adding two more leafs

 

Tell you what, if you can post up a pic of your current rear leafs & a pic of your donor leafs I can tell you how much lift your going to get...

& I will say tho' that adding just 2 "normally" ARC'd per-side can hit almost 4" w/overload left in.. if you want to keep it, Guys trucks I do usually opt out with it, as I would, unless your going to tow something on the heavier side on a regular basis & load extremely heavy loads ( I say extremely because I've had 1346 lbs. on mine & still had pos. ARC, scary drive on a 1st gen none the less) In any of those cases I'd leave it in..

I tow a 11 foot trailer with a 4 wheeler and 2 motorcycle's but dose leaving the overload on make the ride to stiff on a dd

 

Is it tandem axle ? & are all your toys in trailer ? No, the overload won't be a factor in ride quality..
