    If a pro is after your tailgate he is going to get it. Any type of hose clamp, no matter how it is keyed, is easily defeatable with a hammer and a small chisel in about 5 seconds. All you can do is make it inconvenient for the amateur. I just used a hose clamp with it oriented so you have to get to it from underneath. Its only purpose is to make it that much harder to get loose than the next Tacoma that has nothing.

    I'll second the (or 3rd, 4th...) the hose clamp. After spending $25 bucks on the Gate Keeper I wasn't that impressed. Looks nice though. Someone in the habit of removing the tailgate on a regular basis would want the Bully lock, most convenient for the owner to remove.
