‘cause we are not dorks … well, most of us. The motorcycle ‘wave’ is different - it is all inclusive to all riders.

I wave at each one. If they don’t wave back they can go fuck themselves. They’re dead to me.

Zero interest in a Taco wave, but I'd Mopar wave to that. 1968 Charger R/T here.

I waved at a handful of tacos in the past few months I owned mine and zero wave backs. Only one of them smiled at me prolly about to laugh at my dumbass. People around here are too competitive to wave mostly. Everyone thinks theirs is better than all others and they won’t debase themselves to a wave when people should be stopping them and congratulating them on a trophy truck.
Lighten up already. Someone’s waving at you not asking to be BFF’s. My brother lived in Monroe NC decades ago and when I visited him I rode with him in his old Ford truck. Every vehicle that passed us, he would wave, and sure as shit they waved back. Not up here in Snob sound where right lane gunners fly up and jam into the merge lane no effs given.

I'm happy the Tacoma wave isn't a thing because I wouldn't be able to participate. I'm too busy masturbating.

no it's not. harley riders generally don't wave to non-harley riders because they're useless mouth breathers.

was actually really funny, got stuck on tail of the dragon a few years ago behind a slow-moving, obviously-new harley rider. i would've been irritated at how slow he was going (nearly falling over in the turns so slow!), except his 'wave' technique kept me laughing the entire time.

he'd miss shifts, nearly fall off the bike while moving his hand downwards, or start swerving trying to 'wave' at any passing harley, but then entirely ignore any other honda cruiser/sport bike that passed by.

Here in socal all riders wave to each other whenever possible. I occasionally ride a dual sport DRZ and get waved by Harley riders most of the time. If we can’t wave with the hand, we bow the head.

Unlike my four wheeled tendencies, I'll wave/nod/acknowledge anyone on a bike. Most HD riders reciprocate or even initiate the exchange, but around 30% of them are insecure tossers who think they're too cool associate with anyone who doesn't offer them some sort of confirmation bias in their decision to pay way too much money for not enough bike. Most of that 30% seemingly aspire to be helmetless tank top clad meat-crayons.

But I guess everyone waves in their own way.

Fuck the duck and the wave in the greater zoo. We are all just another vehicle clogging up already ever congested streets.

Out in the back country where you don’t see many folks or small towns, a simple polite small wave is generally good no matter what vehicle you are driving.
