So I just inherited my old man's '04. Its the regular cab 4x4 2.7l 4cyl. I absolutley love this truck its everything I could hope for after an abusive relationship with a Tahoe. I am from austin,TX so if anyone knows any good places to wheel around here or any good shops let me know.

Welcome to TW, I love Austin, TX. My wife and I spent some time there and had a great time, went to the capital, listened to music on 6th street (I think that was the street where all the music bars are) had some great Mexican food, we have a friend Penny Jo Pullus, who is a country singer there and also goes on the road, I guess she has even been on Austin City Limits. One night we watched the bats leave the bridge, I think it was on Congress St. You should be getting busy with South by Southwest, which I would love to go there, we love music, and Austin is really the place to be, I would think even more so than NY or LA. You are a lucky man to get the 04 from your father, those trucks are great, and hard to come by.

Welcome! I know we have a few Texans on here. They might be able to help you out with places to go.
