    Has anybody had any bad experiences with Tacomabeast? I recently bought a Stinger HEIGH10 infortainment center from them which I waited 2 months for due to backorders, and when it finally arrived it did not work. After reaching out to Stinger themselves I discovered that mine had some bad wiring. During the process of diagnosing the issues I also learned that even if everything worked perfectly it would not be complete plug and play as it's marketed, since my manual Tacoma triggers my backup camera differently than an automatic.

    When I reached out to Tacomabeast to inform them of the product failure and the lack of plug and play, their initial response was that they could accept a return as the product was opened? (Not sure how I'd know it doesn't work without opening it.) After reaching out to further explain the issues and mis-marketing of the plug and play, I've now been waiting over 2 weeks for a resolution.

    2/10 experience this far.

    Not a fan. Even before learning of their activities at a national park I had bad experience with them as well. Ordered a bumper from them showing 8 week lead time. Week later bumper goes on sale so called asking for either price adjustment or store credit for difference. Their response was have to charge 20% restocking fee then can reorder and get the 15% off sale price. Also the bumper took over 4 months to arrive.

    Interesting they'd put something on sale that has a lead time. Guess they need the cash to float the next material purchase (ah-la Petey, Explore Overland, et. al.)?

    Funny enough, after I purchased this the website had this listed as "Sold Out" a month later they emailed me saying it was going to be another month and that I could cancel my order if I wanted, then checked the website to see they raised the price and it was no longer "Sold Out." When I asked them about it they said that wasn't right and that they were still sold out.

    Good luck to all trying to get resolution on your orders. I think I'll 'avoid future problems' and order elsewhere.

    This is the reason why to always order direct when possible, and never through a drop shipper.

    Especially not through THAT drop-shipper. There are at least a dozen threads on here about why they suck.

    Start a charge-back through PayPal or your CC. That usually makes them more equitable to helping you.

    Yeah lesson learned, I'm sure their customer service has no idea what a Tacoma even is, and is just going through their checklist but I think 2 weeks after 2 months of waiting for the product is long enough. Definitely going to start working things from my end for a resolution.

    I ordered their bed side decals and they sent the wrong color. It was hard to tell in the packaging that they sent grey instead of black and only found out once I installed one. Had no problem getting an exchange and they did not request the old stickers back. Good luck!

    So after 2 months of waiting for the product and 3 weeks of dealing with their customer service, and having to bring in the manufacturers of the product. I finally got refunded. 0/10 experience, would not recommend lol.

    I bought my QuickLift through TB in Aug/2021 and some other small products but nothing majorly expensive. No problems with my purchases.

    I've since stayed away from their website.

    Iv had three orders not one problem .
    I just asked then to call me and they did,
    They checked the inventory and sent it out.
    I don’t like placing orders by the internet so I go old school. They been great to me.

    First and last order took 3 weeks to receive on an in stock item. Tried to cancel for a week and they were trying to get in contact with their distributor to see if i was able to cancel. Then got a tracking number so they closed my case but still took 3 days to actually ship. Shouldve learned from others but took my chances. All the bad press checks out in my experience
