i’m thinking about throwing a pair of aftermarket headlights on my truck and saw these are on sale for tacomabeast. are they halogen or led headlights? no video or pictures literally anywhere of the actual headlights. if they aren’t led how can i modify them to fit h11 bulbs?

    A simple search solves that

Im assuming those are LED because they are the newer version of the headlights I currently own. Mine are halogen

These are just halogen... and of course you can modify them. I believe there’s... some type of barrier between the housing of the halo and where you’d need to slide your hand down...

Pretty sure it voids all warranty on the lights too...

i figured as much, i just haven’t seen anybody post about actually modifying them to fit the bulbs (much less a step by step process). i’m kinda inept when it comes to this so i need my hand held lol

was it easy? like plug and play? or did it require modification. ive got the DiodeDynamics SL1 high and low beams on my truck right now so i really wanna keep them for the next set of lights (300$ worth of lights there)

Have em. They are 100% plug and play. H11s that come with the headlights are halogen. While they say HIDs will void the warranty, I have been running HIDs in mine for about 6 months with no issues.

Anyone know how the DRL light output is compared to the older tacomabeast ones?
