haha, I would but its not my place, and there isn't much parking space at the top of that hill. But if anybody considers going to Lake Lure, you should definatly do it, its beautiful!

No I don't. My parents have a nice place on High Rock Lake, so I split my summer weekends between High Rock and Lake Lure. I love the water.

 

Yea you failed on that quote. but yea i saw that house, it was almost in the water but i read in the paper that some guy bought it and moved it and was gonna restore it and rent it out. Never seen the movie though.

 

Looks like we both need to post some pics... I;ve been meaning to get around to it forever now. who knows, we may have seen each other on the road. I work in North Cary and am in Raleigh every other weekend or so.

I'm down in Jacksonville, NC but usually drive up to Quantico, VA to see my wife every weekend. If anything is going down enroute to there someone let me know. Even if it's just a simple meet and greet, "lets-work-on-our-trucks" type deal, thatd be awesome. My buddy who was going to help me out with my lift and everything is still down in Haiti and I'm not a very mechanical guy.

 

Hey everyone I havent posted here yet but im moving back to NC in two weeks so I figured I would start. Im originally from Cali but met my wife when I was in the Army stationed at Bragg. She is in the Navy now and just got orders to Camp Lejeune. So ill be living in the Jacksonville area. But we have a place in a little town called Godwin about 20 minutes north of Fayetteville. Its out in the country and only has a caution light. But the good news is that I have about 300 acres so we could fit all the trucks we wanted out there. Once I get settled in mabey I could host something on our property. There is a pond and people could fish if thats your thing, or bring your guns and we could shoot things all day.
