I'm putting together a Tacoma and I want it to be as "big" as my f150. How much lift do I need?

I parked next to a Tacoma earlier today in my f150. He was on coilovers and top hat spacers but was running stock UCA's. Tires where 275/75r18. His mirrors were about 2" taller than mine. I was guessing with the stock upper control arms he wasn't over 3" but I'm not really sure

Right now I have bilstiens (stock springs) set at 2.5", Camberg UCA's. I'm still working out what I'm doing for the rear lift. I'm leaning towards a shackle flip.
You guys think that'll be enough?

That being said, my truck is lifted roughly 3 inches and its barely the height of some full size and still shorter (at the roofline) than most modern full size trucks lol. Size doesnt matter guys right??? My wife told me so....

You may want to get some new coils and turn those Bilstein's down a few notches to get a better ride

I have 3" lift in the back and 3 in the front + 1/2" body lift on the cab on 33s. I often have people tell me my Tundra is badass.

I was actually considering painting my stock rims since I lost a center cap for one of the hubs recently. I think I'll just buy another cap ;-)

just got mine back this week after a 10d mod-fest. a 6.5 inch lift with Fox suspension and 33in Nittos and its a pretty damn thick beast now. makes a lot of things look tiny. i included the Facebook post from the shop that did it as it lists the other items too.

The real question is how much more ground clearance do you have vs a 3in?
