I hope I can too! Should be an awesome meet. Yeah, the OME stuff is great actually but I added a bunch of weight to the truck and now my coils and front shocks aren't up to the challenge so rather than stick with OME I am gonna get some extended travel coil overs.

lol Yes! I just chose Icon due to them looking better on my truck! As you said, can't go wrong with the big 3. Sorry for the thread jack Stig, now back to your regularly scheduled TacoStig build thread. :D

I don't have much first hand experience with lighting but after some research pelfrey's bumper+rigid combo deal was hard to beat. Once the rig is put together I'd be game to make it to a meet.

I second that! Although I'd also do bad things for a MGM. The smurf mobile is more smurfy than I like on the daily but I'll do my best to tame it down with more black accents.

Alright guys I need your input!

So I decided to pull the trigger on a warn M8000-s but randomly I'm having more trouble deciding which color flatlink to order.

Blue to match the truck... Red to match the truck's red accents... or... just get Black because it's clean and not so flashy.

I think that blue would match your truck pretty well and look good.

Blue! But make sure its the shade of blue in the truck picture, that next picture looks like a light blue

Thanks guys, yeah the blue is tricky... even when taking photos of my truck it's either blown out ugly pale blue or nice and dark blue.

You may want to play it safe and go black.. Then people won't see it and think "oh that looks expensive lets steal it".. Not sure how hard they are to take on/off

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I like the colored accent but it does draw more attention. Then again, the whole truck will be screaming look at me once the rest of the gear goes on. Hmm

Picked up some flares last week under the assumption I'd cut them up for better clearance. I'm still not sold on the look, they're kinda cheesy... but we'll see.

Stig, you gonna make it to the July 12th Tahuya meet with your shocks relocated?

Hey Casey, it's not looking like it. Hoped I'd have everything by now but things are moving slow as usual. I'll be doing a ton of work during the three day 4th of July weekend but highly doubt it'll be a smooth process. Plus, I'll be spending extra time cleaning/painting while I have everything ripped apart.

Oh darn. :( ok. Well if by some miracle you're free on the 12th, and you feel the need to offroad, you know where we'll be. Just a day trip remember... Catch you next time!
