My wife rolled up while I was taking a dump in my six foot bed.

I didn't watch the vids. But for $200K+ do you get re-geared and tune with that?

Nope. Just a top heavy slug. One that will need a supercharger just to make it up the 2wd beginner climb.

The only way I could see something like this even be remotely worth it is if it were on like an F250 or something like that.

Seriously! Why didn't they choose the Tundra as a platform? Same crappy mileage but, more power and more room!

For those saying a 200k price point on a super underpowered and not regeared truck, on top of the ugly ass speckle interior that tbh looks like a small sailboat interior, I’d save a little more and buy a used earthroamer that has a significantly nicer interior and more than enough power and accessories than this ugly ass thing could ever offer. Toyota is nuts if they think these are going to sell like crazy for that price.

I wish it had been an "XXXX"Zilla and not necessarily Taco. Sad. Embarrassing really. :anonymous:

Everyone saying its horribly under powered forgets that the original version of this ran on a 22r and 22re engines pushing a romping stomping 97-105 hp

Have a story about that, years and years ago when we owned a construction company my dad was just starting to get the signs of having MS, he had trouble walking but still could operate the excavator. Well… they were out on a job site and had to go, with nowhere really to go, had a couple guys help him up into the bed of our 2.5 Ton dump truck, and with a 5 gallon bucket. Unfortunately they didn’t have any toilet paper, so he told one of the guys to go get some leaves…so Jeff comes back and holds up some leaves over the side…and my dad says….”no no Jeff…bring me some big leaves!”

That's true. I knew a guy who had an older version that was the full blown RV size. What a slug that was. I think a VW bus could blow his doors off.

I will give the 22r/re engine 1 benefit, they will outlast humanity. In 20,000 years, some alien race is going to dig up a old pickup with the 22re and it will start on the first crank.

So true. Sister was driving home from Colorado to Oregon in her '91 toyota truck. Calls me maybe 200miles out from home. Truck running like crap. Yep, lost a cylinder. She just kept driving on home on the 3 left. No problem..... ok well it did need a rebuild once here but.
