The concept appears to be 4x4. Couple that with the towering height they're expecting...I don't know.

A Proace van life conversion would be neat.

Did dude really use "it'll stick up higher than other cars and be easy to find in a parking lot" as a selling point?

This seams like the coolest project that isn’t going to be worth the $150k it’s gonna cost to build.

Cool exercise if you REALLY love working with fiberglass. but a slide in camper costs what? $20k completely decked out?

    Like, so many.
I like these projects even if I would never have one.

Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel & axe) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. CH4x4 switch for front camera and 'anytime' rear camera. Billet front mount seat risers. Bed mounted 4 lb fire extinguisher. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires. Custom Sliders.
    Cool project, I like it.

Interesting choice of presenters. As an owner of various tiny campers and as someone that lived on a boat for 4+ years.. I think I could offer more selling points and insight into tiny living space/design than someone that's "been building racecars all their life" but I'm obviously biased.

What I'd REALLY like to see is a new wave and era of upscale RV parks across the country that'd be appealing to commuters/telecommuters (and could be rationalized against the cost of rent near major metro areas.)

That's cool, but builds like this one is why Toyota should keep regular cab trucks in their line up.

Cool. Curious of what they will select for skins.. perhaps aluminum/composite panels? Unless this is just a visual prototype I assume they aren't going with a 2 piece fiberglass shell.

With that metal cage all they need is a 40' wide roll of shrink-wrap along with a few zipper windows and a zipper door from Dr. Shrink. Plywood floors and some retro vinyl stripe stickers and you're ready to go camping!
