Gauging interest here. I’m planning a Tahuya run on Sunday the 7th. I have two friends going up already but I’d be willing to forgo leadership to someone who has more experience there. Only been to Tahuya once before but if you’re interested please sound off in the comments.

I have recovery gear and gsm radio.

Planning on meeting at the trailhead/meet up area at 11am.

Fuck it then! I'd go but been there. Very tight cornering for a schlong bed. It was a bitch for me.

Well we need to have a meet up soon that’s for sure! Just installed some Amber Baja Designs rock lights on the Sherpa rack and I’m surprised how bright they are. Wanted to compare notes!

I was planning on going out on Saturday the 6th. Could change it to Sunday instead. I've been a handful of times and know most of the routes.

How much do you love your predator steps? There are definitely some things there that those will get hung up on. Mine are bashed.

I’m literally hating my predator steps right now. They hang up on everything and I’m afraid they will cause some damage. I was actually considering taking them off before Sunday.

If you’ve been out there before it would be great to have that experience out there. Hopefully we will see you!

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
I would definitely pull the steps before you go. On a trip a few years back we pulled one of the guy's predator steps in the middle of the trail and ratchet strapped them in the back of his bed. Unfortunately by the time we pulled them they were already pretty beat up.
