Thanks. I'll have to do that when I get home. I'm happy how it turned out. No more half signal, half brake.

Thanks. I didn't take pics of the process. Wiring was easy. I'll help anyone who needs assistance.

Yes it comes with instructions which I lost. The yellow(turn)and red(brake) on the module are inputs. White is the output. I tied the 50w lid resistor to the yellow and ground.

I did the amber/white switchbacks in the reverse buckets a month ago. I think I have some pictures on my phone of the whole process.

Is it not possible to just do this with diodes? I have to see what's going on with this but should be able to be done. I know if you want to use LEDs as turn signals you have to LED modules or the system thinks it an open circuit and hyper flashes..... On a side note I will be replacing my reverse lights with LEDs instead of the birthday candles that are in there.

My rears are LEDs and I experienced no hyper-flashing. I got resistors, but never bothered installing them.

Great work @Siblue, that's about the best your can make the stockers without opening them up.
Still would have liked an Amber turn from the factory:(
When I wired my Tritton V3 switchbacks(7440)... the 6OHM resistor gave me problems, ended up with NO resistor and works flawless. (I have resistors up front though too)

@swordfish Got any pics of the modded reverse bucket?
How well is that amber visible through the Red lens?

I use in my cars superbrightleds.com they have everything in one place and you can search by vehicle platform. They have quality shit too. I am a picky SOB and use them for like 10 years. Not the cheapest but you can guarentee you will get what pay for with them.

@Siblue They are the VLED Triton AMBER/White with the direct wire kit.
@mesojdm I will pull down some more photos tomorrow, but the Triton uses a ring with set-screws mount that I epoxied in place after clearancing the original bulb hole with a step bit.

Nice. I thought about that..but i'd be stuck with the V3's forever(badass don't get me wrong)
I ended up cutting the 7440 socket out and molding it in so I could switch if needed.

P.s. Aren't the reverse lights badass?!!!

    Link to the lights
They do sales every couple of months so don't buy them at full price.
I was concerned that the reverse lights would be a little weak, but they are actually amazingly good.
