    I did that for my genesis coupe when I purchased the LED tail lights for the newer models. I ended up having 4 reverse lights that I did to projectors. I sold my genesis after having the LED tail lights on for only 4 months. Took them off and put stock tail lights on....I always wanted to know if something similar was possible for my truck. Hmmmm....anyone interested in 2013-2016 GENESIS COUPE tail lights with Dyode Dynamics brake to turn set up installed? Plus 4 LED projector reverse lights... :) SiBlue, you gotta help me do what u did.....to the Tacoma. I'm in Hacienda Heights, where u located? :)

    Couple of counter points to that reasoning...........

    Not all states have inspections, but they all have lawyers.

    You'd have to prove the mod was in place when the inspection occurred, not something you'd done afterwards.

    Even then, an aggressive lawyer would go after you for the mod AND the inspector for negligence of duty.

    So what is the definitive best/easiest way to wire up the tails so they both light up when braking and are also used as turn signals?

    I like where you guys are going with this. One thing I have always wanted to do, but would require altering the housing, is to make the brake light and turn signal all one brake light like you guys have done, but then take that little square piece between the top and bottom light and turn it into a turn signal so that i can leave the reverse light alone.

    Had a few people ask me to sell them the T20 adapter i designed for the reverse hole.. so got me thinking about offering an entire BRAKE/TURN/REVERSE kit.

    Would anyone be interested in this? it would be 99% PnP, you have to ream out the reverse hole and epoxy the adapter in.
    How is it better than stock?
    1)Double upgraded LED's for the brake section(only the lower socket is brake right now)
    2)AMBER turn signal (stock is top red socket)
    3)Bright LED reverse light

    Yes I am interested. Would you be using a led switchback for the reverse and blinker or the hid style you have done on other retrofits? I prefer the brightness of the hid reverse

    Would you have to epoxy the adapter in? Can't it twist lock like the stock bulb?
