Hate wires. Waiting for a plug n play harness so I can unload my wallet.

Any info from anyone (MESO) about when these might be available?

I know this is a 3rd gen thread but I pretty much follow everything you make for 3rd gens like no other even tho I own a 2nd gen. You just make really cool shit for Tacoma’s and I’m a fan of what you do.

I was just wondering if you were planning on making the v6 triton adapters for the 2nd gens too because two turn signals are better than one and two bright ass turn signals will be the cats pajamas man.

Iv probably read that thread like 100 times already haha, just drooling over those tail lights. I wasn’t sure if those adapters could fit the Tritons because you put Morimotos in there.

I really liked what you did with the runnings lights in that build the side ones and the brake ones.

Thanks for that vid. I think having the turns in the lower bucket is much better! I was set on putting them in with the tails but this is a the way to go

Not cheap for sure. But they do look good. When can I get a set of the clear ones?

I left the low-filament wire as-is for both sockets when I wired my tails with the Diode Dynamics Tail-as-Turn modules -- no problems. I also did not change the ground wire to either socket.

So I’m making my way back to this mod. Thanks to the troublesome part sourcing and care package from a certain member:) I am going to put together a prototype harness kit. I think it will incorporate the 10ohm turn signal resistor on a 2 pin(quick disconnect) harness. That way the end user can remove/ or add resistance depending on their particular setup for proper function.(example: some people have stock bulbs everywhere, some have modded LEDs front, side, etc)

Second, It will include the switchback 3D printed adapter and a set of diode dynamics switchback 7440 in the kit(since I am dealer now and can get better pricing)

Last, it probably will not include the 4 red brake bulbs(but maybe an option?) because it would make the prIce of the kit way higher and some people already have replaced their halogens to LEDS.

Shooting for the entire plug and play kit for around ~$100 range. +/- once I get down to brass tacks.
    Stay posted :D

Nice. So,you're talking about using the diode dynamics switchbacks in the reverse lights, correct? Why those and not the VLEDs? Just better pricing?

I’ve used both, and neither are poor performers by any means. One is good, the other is better. But if I want to keep the price point reasonable ~$100 for a DIY kit, It will have to be DD. Just the Tritons themselves are $125 which would put the kit into the $200range.
If people want the Tritons, it will still plug right in to where the switchback 7440 bulb was. I just would sell the kit sans diode bulbs.

    Thanks.

I’ve have the tritons already and the adapters. Would I be able to just purchase the wiring harness alone?
