That’s rad, but I doubt they are that bright out in the daytime/sunlight. Typically builds like that use generic 5mm dome top LEDs which IMO are not crazy bright. Yes there are a shit ton of them which help, but I bet a single Tritton turn bulb would be brighter than that entire array. Cool non the less.

Oh, it was definitely tongue-in-cheek. I'd imagine an all triton setup would be like defcon-2 to those behind (first photo). I'd gather at that point all drivers behind see is the nonsense in that video.

EDIT: Hrm.... will a triton fit through the center hole on a KC....
EDIT #2: I already know the answer to that.... it too was in jest/rhetorical.

Put in a stage 1 today on a local truck. Install took about 5 minutes and that’s with B.S’n. Only mod that’s been done were LED reverse lights.
Harness length, layout, and bulb adapter were flawless. First, I left 1 side stock to compare. The running light—>brake light had a good distinctive change. The 7443 LEDS killed the stock halogens and the FULL “C” looked awesome. Next was the turn/reverse. The stage 1 reverse threw about the same amount as the drop in Led on the other side. Not much more I could ask for with the given parameters.
Last was the turn signal. I’m very pleased with the color and reflection off the stock chrome bowl. Bulb depth is tuned perfect for optimal light coverage.
The amber light has much more intensity (which is another big plus) because it does not get refracted going through a lens(like the upper red turn signal)
I tested it without the plug in resistor for shits and giggles..already knew the outcome and yes it had hyperflash. Plugged in the 10ohm and fixed it with no problem.
I’ll see if I can get some pics for you guys.
I’m still biased towards the stage 2 though:p

A note for those who are doing the Triton v6 conversion:

The large yellow arrow points to a "breather" cap that can and should be pulled off when starting this process and replaced after. This breather cap will put pressure on your adapter and create a mis-alignment while curing/bonding. It may also get in the way while using a step-bit to enlarge the socket hole.
The thin yellow arrow points to a ridge that you will want to cut or file down to flush with the top of the bulb socket opening. if you do not, it will interfere with the adapter sitting all the way down, flush. This will create a mis-alignment during curing-bonding as well.
    Hope that helps...

Just to be clear, the thin yellow line is pointing to the ridge at the 8 o'clock position of the breather cap, correct?

    I could do that.
hmm..... I want bright and I want amber.
I have a switchpro9100 so I was going to trigger the future bumper lights off of the reverse signal. This way I could disable the extra light if someone starting melting.

At this point I don't have the bumper lights or the switchpro installed.

Is the amber output of amber only V6 different than the amber in the switchback version? If not I could just disable the switchback in the future. right?

How about your original (Version 1) minus the other light connectors (stop n tail, turn and tail) and only the sealed terminal for the signal tap, how much? Doing upper n lower STOP n TAIL, relocating TURN to BU lamp.

@mesojdm would you consider selling the harness and resistors by themselves, for those who'd want to source their own LED's

Yeah this sucks you have such useful and well thought out fixes for our trucks.
I always think I’m done and you keep making more stuff I find I can’t live without once I know how shitty my stock stuff is.

I'm still going to edit the video(to show an overlay of stock VS Total tail in action), but here are 2 quick videos showing the basic overview, and then whats included in stage 1. Hopefully it should help out and answer any questions.
