Tail light swap on 09 Tacoma

Anyone had any experience removing the led tailights on an 09 Tacoma and installing the 05-08 style tail lights?

I bought OEM 05-08 style lights and plan to put them in my 09 but didn't know if I should plan for any modification before hand.

If they don't work, does anyone know of some good replacement tail lights that are the 'plain jane' red tail lights with clear back up lens for an 09 tacoma. I've seen some good ones made by Spyder but have never gotten any ratings or feedback on them.

I think the tail lights I bought already have the harness attached...
