Help a helping driver shouted over to me last night, stating I had no tail lights. My brake and signals work but not the running lights. Any ideas would help. 2006 4dr taco sr5

Check the fuse first. I've had it happen a couple times. If I remember right its the top row third from left? Don't quote me on it. Just look at the panel and test them

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Have you done any electrical lately, trailer harness, etc.? Definitely check the fuse, then check your bulbs. Crazy at it seems, I have had both go out at the same time.

I replaced a headlight and front right turn signal last week, first headlight 3 weeks ago. Maybe they are all burning out at the same time. Just looked at the tail light for removal and no idea how they come out. Does that section of bed liner have to be removed to get at the mounting screws.
I'm checking the fuse before doing anything else.

You have to remove the light and the bulbs come out the back. Just twist and they come out. Tails should be the middle one I think

That is an excellent post. Thanks so much. As soon as I get this bulb issue fixed, I'm picking up some upgraded tail lights.
