Tailgate lock to work with central locking?

2020 Tacoma and was wondering if there is a kit to make the tailgate lock work with the doors when locking or unlocking? I thought I read something on here but can’t seem to help. Any help will be appreciated

 

Do you have the elecric locks installed in your tailgate yet? Pop n Lock sells the handle with the lock. You have to disassemble the tailgate and install the lock, then run wires into the passenger door lock circuit, I did it on my truck so the tailgate unlocks and locks with the passenger doors.

 

I believe Pop&Lock makes one. I think this is it.

I have nothing installed. It’s plain stock keyless system

 

Look into pop n lock, the elecric locks might just be able to be installed into the stock handle, I'm not sure because my tailgate was stolen and I bought all the pieces for one separately with a pop n lock handle and assembled it all myself

 

I found the kit. Thanks for all the help. If I’m reading it right it only locks the tailgate? You still need the key to unlock?

 

Locks and unlocks it. There is also a thread here about making your own. I followed that one and results were great

 

It will lock and unlock the tailgate.

 

I think @ktjo4x4 sells a kit too, I bought something from her to install mine a while ago and it works great, no splicing wires.

+1 for pop n lock. Super easy install. There's vidoes on youtube for it as well.

I just installed the Pop & Lock last month and love it. I followed the Taco Twonz installation video which is very thorough. They show you how to run it up the passenger side (instead of driver) so you can double-press to unlock vs. unlocking it every time. The only knock on it is that it is loud when you're standing by the tailgate... but I've just convinced myself that this is just a very satisfying and reassuring "thunk" that my bed is now secure.

FYI the toyota dealer sells the popnlock too but under a toyota part number but its the same part.

I’m not sure if you have purchased your Tailgate Lock Kit yet but I definitely sell the Kit that has been mentioned here. Here is the thread:

Either route you choose is a good route. The main difference is price and splicing into your factory wiring. My kit is cheaper, you get more for your money, and you don’t have to splice into your factory wiring. However, both Kits you will be able to Lock and Unlock your Truck.
