New locks are up on the site. $80.95 and $68.95 for the Bolt/Non-Bolt version. Looks good, but why not just get the powered version for that price? Better reliability/easier install?

So this BOLT lock allows you to use the OEM truck key? can you incorporate a power component to this?

Shipping to HI is $22.05 for FedEx 2 day. Came out to $103.00

I would be happy with a discount just to bring down that price.

How awsome would it be to have a keyed/electric lock. I gues the keyed would be more of a safety of just incase the electric fails..
But the bolt keyed alike is wonderful and on my list

other than the use of the factory key what is the difference between the 5300, 5400, and 5500? I have a 5300 enroute from an auto anything purchase.

Yes I did send Jason an email this morning congratulating them on the release. Earlier this week he said he'd try to let me know something by the end of the week. Releasing a new product/product line can be stressful on an organization, so I'd give him a few days.

Until then all I can offer is

Sounds like only the PL5400 uses your truck key. The other 2 uses the keys that's provided. And PL5400 and PL5500 looks like stock OEM with a lock.

    Sweet, patiently waiting for it.

Jason has not yet responded to my message I sent on Monday. I'll ping him again today. I'm trying not to be too pushy, but I'll let him know the forum is getting a little restless.

For the price difference, I'm happy to just have my plain ass 5200 that has worked great on 2 different trucks.

The little key keeps the locking gas cap key company, weighs next to nothing and can't really tell it's even there as far as bulking up the keychain. Not really seeing this "OEMness" here. What does that even mean? It doesn't have the lower half that fills in the whole handle indent in the tailgate? I'd rather have it all filled in myself. I do like the option of using the truck key to operate it but not gonna flip the coin they want for it while my other one is still completely functional. Not seeing it failing for any reason either. Have to be nice ass discount for TW folks to entice me.

Just received notification that my new 5400 with Bolt shipped yesterday! Now, I just need Toyota to call and say my 2014 DCLB has arrived and I'll be in good shape, lol.

Received the 5400 today, looks great! To confirm the post above the description on the box reads "Toyota Tacoma 2005-2014 with or without camera". It has a red sticker over the keyhole that reads "WARNING Do not remove until ready to code key"

All you need to do is insert the ignition key, turn once clockwise and presto...but it only works once so make sure it's the right key!

Now, where's my truck...still waiting for it to arrive at the dealer. All of my aftermarket parts have beaten it home :(

I wonder if one of the self-coding tumblers could be retrofit into the 5200? That'd be some cool shit. I'd be down for that action. I think I'll try to contact them to find out.................
